Students For Environmental Sustainability (SfES)

I. Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Students for Environmental Sustainability to serve as a resource organization for environmental sustainability on the Michigan Tech campus and to raise awareness of environmental sustainability on Michigan Tech's campus and in the surrounding community. SfES has the following two main objectives: (1) coordinate Earth Week events annually at Michigan Tech for campus and community members and (2) plan and execute any additional activities pertaining to environmental sustainability, as decided annually by the current membership.

II. Purpose and Objectives

A. To serve as a resource organization for environmental sustainability on the Michigan Tech campus by:

1. Coordinating Earth Week events annually at Michigan Tech for campus and community members.
2. Planning and executing any additional activities pertaining to environmental sustainability, as decided annually by the current membership.

B. To raise awareness of environmental sustainability on Michigan Tech's campus and in the surrounding community.
